Marshmallow Shades of Pink

Hello again!
As I said in my previous post I've been in loving editing lately ( I fear it may become something that consumes most of my free time!) and I've been experimenting with a frosted pink! It kinda looks like their is a light veil over the picture and a soft shade of pink (or as I like to call it a marshmallow shade of pink)  is coming through, giving it a kind of fairy tale dream effect. Needless to say I LOVE IT!   

I honestly love artists that can set a certain mood with what they've created or their photography! And whether that be a fairy tale mood or something deeper the fact that they can convey their thoughts in a different way is something I think should be admired! I am beyond happy to feel like I'm learning how to do that and I feel the more I let myself be free to do what I want with my art regardless of what I think anyone else will assume the happier I am about the result of what I've made!

Editing!

Lately I have been loving grabbing a cup of tea my computer and just editing away I love it SO much! My friend Chloe (you probably already know her blog The public dollhouse its amazin check it out) showed me a website called PicMoneky. It has a lot of great editing choices and you can get so creative setting your own mood for a picture you've taken! I would highly recommend checking it out! So these are some pictures I took that I decided to edit and I am very pleased with the outcome!

High Bun Anyone?

I'm in love with the high ballet bun its TOOOO amazing! Whenever I where it I imagine I'm a Pro ballerina going to a recital. Yeahhh I know lol I just like it!

Here I lay in awe and wonder

I woke up thinking about this song and happy because of it. This song reminded me of this time I was at a winter retreat and the pastor asked us if after the sermon we would go outside  lay down  and look at the moon as well as the sky and feel how small we are. And I did. This song so reminded me of that moment when I went outside lay down looked up at a huge shining moon in a starlit sky and there I laid in awe and wonder of God.

Summer dreams!

This maybe ridiculously late in the summer to start this list but I actually started before summer started. I believe since everyone works so hard during the fall, winter, and spring to get through with school they should take the summer time (even if they are still taking on a few classes) to let their imagination run and let their child like dreams come true! And yes I know exactly just how corny that last sentence sounded! So I made a list of my summer dreams!

 

 The list includes a few stuff that would really I think only make me oddly happy such as getting a whole bunch of little kid temporary tattoos like of spider man and such and putting them on my arm like a sleeve tattoo.  As well as building a fire at a camp site or something and dancing around it like Tom Hanks did in Cast Away. Or one of my particular favorites getting some chalk from the Dollar Tree store and going to a random side walk and making it look like a crime scene in which their is a body outline from which the victim was killed by a taco.  Yeah its filled with a whole lot of stuff like that. But as I said before its about what makes you happy and what will fill your summer with only the best memories even if they do seam a bit juvenile. Even if its just about feeling like a kid for a while.

HELLO SUMMER!

So I know I have been absent from my small world of creativity but ahhh so much school and stuff but I've come back to my blog! Any who I feel so ready for summer and all the adventures and great memories to come from it! SO to start off this summer I thought I would do something a bit different like I don't know dye my hair red no big deal;) Okay so more creativity to come sooooon!!!

So...

So I was thinking to myself its a pretty freaking nice day outside, lets do a random post in honor of its beauty! So put on a good record and enjoy what you have my friends:) Hope you enjoy:)

Friday Fun!

Hello all! Happy Friday I'm sure everyone is excited for the weekend, I know I am! I haven't really been able to take any pictures or do anything particularly creative so I thought that I would  have this post be a inspirational video to start of ya'lls  weekend! This man is one of my favorite photographers. I love his zeal for details and his desire to capture every day peoples inspirational style. He is brilliant in capturing great images! He makes me want to take my camera and go take pictures of people on the street that i ind interesting! I hope you all enjoy The Sartorialist.

Tea Time!

So I love tea and the other day I was chilling listening  to some Otis on my record player with a cup of tazo zen tea  while the sun spilled through my window brightening everything in my room.  I felt an incredible amount of peace, relaxation and well zenness if that is a word lol. Anyways I thought I should share my favorite teas of  the moment and when to drink them! Of course you can drink them whenever you like, this is just my recommendation but they are all really great and I hope you like it! 

Zen by Tazo is amazing when you want to take in your surroundings or just chill and listen to good music. Its a very strong and rich green tea and I like to drink it without any sugar or honey because for me the flavor is so good on its own.

Tazo Passion is my FAVORITE!!!!!! I drink it almost every day...yeah I'm a little addicted and I'm not quittin any time soon. I like to drink it hot year round but in the summer when its boiling outside I love Starbucks lemonade ice tea version of it! This tea is great to drink if you want a wake up or even just a pick up its very refreshing!

Last but not least is also one I drink very often its chamomile with almond milk and sugar. I remember the first time I  drank it was when I was pretty young at my grandmas house and at first it sounded disgusting to me but I didn't want to be mean so I said yes and I ended up loving it!!! I love to drink this when I'm reading a good book!

Red Lips

So I was always scared to put red on my lips cause my lips are big so with red I thought I looked like a clown but I've gotten sooooo into them that I've put those thoughts aside and embraced the classy timeless lips! It really taught me to embrace the things that make you different and not let wrong thinking put you down! Haha hope you enjoyed my rant;)
