Marshmallow Shades of Pink

Hello again!
As I said in my previous post I've been in loving editing lately ( I fear it may become something that consumes most of my free time!) and I've been experimenting with a frosted pink! It kinda looks like their is a light veil over the picture and a soft shade of pink (or as I like to call it a marshmallow shade of pink)  is coming through, giving it a kind of fairy tale dream effect. Needless to say I LOVE IT!   

I honestly love artists that can set a certain mood with what they've created or their photography! And whether that be a fairy tale mood or something deeper the fact that they can convey their thoughts in a different way is something I think should be admired! I am beyond happy to feel like I'm learning how to do that and I feel the more I let myself be free to do what I want with my art regardless of what I think anyone else will assume the happier I am about the result of what I've made!

Editing!

Lately I have been loving grabbing a cup of tea my computer and just editing away I love it SO much! My friend Chloe (you probably already know her blog The public dollhouse its amazin check it out) showed me a website called PicMoneky. It has a lot of great editing choices and you can get so creative setting your own mood for a picture you've taken! I would highly recommend checking it out! So these are some pictures I took that I decided to edit and I am very pleased with the outcome!

High Bun Anyone?

I'm in love with the high ballet bun its TOOOO amazing! Whenever I where it I imagine I'm a Pro ballerina going to a recital. Yeahhh I know lol I just like it!

Here I lay in awe and wonder

I woke up thinking about this song and happy because of it. This song reminded me of this time I was at a winter retreat and the pastor asked us if after the sermon we would go outside  lay down  and look at the moon as well as the sky and feel how small we are. And I did. This song so reminded me of that moment when I went outside lay down looked up at a huge shining moon in a starlit sky and there I laid in awe and wonder of God.

Summer dreams!

This maybe ridiculously late in the summer to start this list but I actually started before summer started. I believe since everyone works so hard during the fall, winter, and spring to get through with school they should take the summer time (even if they are still taking on a few classes) to let their imagination run and let their child like dreams come true! And yes I know exactly just how corny that last sentence sounded! So I made a list of my summer dreams!

 

 The list includes a few stuff that would really I think only make me oddly happy such as getting a whole bunch of little kid temporary tattoos like of spider man and such and putting them on my arm like a sleeve tattoo.  As well as building a fire at a camp site or something and dancing around it like Tom Hanks did in Cast Away. Or one of my particular favorites getting some chalk from the Dollar Tree store and going to a random side walk and making it look like a crime scene in which their is a body outline from which the victim was killed by a taco.  Yeah its filled with a whole lot of stuff like that. But as I said before its about what makes you happy and what will fill your summer with only the best memories even if they do seam a bit juvenile. Even if its just about feeling like a kid for a while.
